CPMC Joins Coastal Clean-Up in Calatagan, Batangas for a Cleaner Coast
Five CPMC employees of Citystate Properties and Management Corporation (CPMC) joined the Coastal Clean-Up Activity on September 11, 2026, at the Boardwalk in Barangay Bagong Silang, Calatagan, Batangas.
Held under the theme “Kababaihan Para sa Inang Kalikasan,” the activity brought together women’s organizations, local government representatives, community groups, and partner organizations to encourage collective action in caring for the environment, particularly the coastal areas of Calatagan.
The program began with an assembly at Zobel Plaza before participants proceeded to Sandari Calatagan for a safety briefing with the Philippine Coast Guard and Barangay Bagong Silang officials. A total of 215 participants took part in the activity.
Prior to the clean-up, the Sandari Calatagan team welcomed Mayor Cinderella Valenton-Reyes of Agoncillo, Batangas, Mayor Ellery Gardiola-Silva of Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas, and Miss Eva Matining Dino, wife of Calatagan Mayor Rico Puno, who helped coordinate participation with the local government of Calatagan.
The main activity focused on cleaning the designated coastal area, with participants working together to collect waste along the shoreline. The collected waste was then segregated and weighed to document the results of the coastal clean-up.
Representatives from the Provincial Women Coordinating Council, Municipal Women Coordinating Council, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police, Tourism Office, Sangguniang Barangay Bagong Silang, local women leaders, volunteers, and partner organizations also took part in the initiative.

CPMC also looks forward to supporting another coastal clean-up activity in the area fronting Sandari Calatagan as part of its continuing efforts to help keep the coastline clean and cared for.
